Fascia Stretch Therapy (FST) Overview

Fascia Stretch Therapy (FST) is the premium assisted stretching technique performed by a certified Fascia Stretch Therapy practitioner. Unlike traditional assisted stretching, which isolates a specific muscle and holds the stretch for 15-30 seconds at some resistance often associated with some discomfort, FST is pain free and focuses not just on the muscles but also the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds everything in the body.

The technique centres around traction to open the joint capsules, decompress the joints and eliminate jamming or impingements while stretching. This expands space and releases adhesions in the joints and surrounding tissues allowing the joints and muscles to move through their full mobility creating optimal range of motion increases and flexibility gains.
